In addition to the impressive line-up of boats, marine gear, luxury lifestyle and properties on display at the Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show, there is so much more that visitors can do and enjoy over the four days. Here are 5 reasons you should be at the boat show from 24-27 November:
1) Get on the water
There are free daily yacht cruises from Ocean Marina. These are a great way for people to dip their toe in the water, so to speak, and to experience the enjoyment of the nautical lifestyle. Check out the daily schedule on the official event website (www.oceanmarinapattayaboathow.com) and please book in advance to secure your spot!
2) Cocktails and dreams
There’s no better place to enjoy a cocktail, a glass of wine, beer or whatever your tipple is, than by the sea, and at the Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show there’s plenty of both – sea, and drinks, that is. From the fully-stocked bar at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club to Mojito’s from Sailor Jerry, Stella Artois on tap, wines from the nearby Silverlake vineyard, and so much more.
3) Games and demonstrations
There are games and lots of fun stalls at the show offering up fun activities, as well as in-water and onshore demonstrations from exhibitors. There’s plenty to keep you entertained while making the decision about that boat or that luxurious seafront condominium!
4) Dine by the sea
The show welcomes an eclectic mix of food and drinks vendors this year including booths and food trucks from speciality outlets around Thailand, including some delicious designer ice cream. Alternatively, enjoy the indoor/ outdoor a la carte all-day dining options on offer at Ocean Marina Yacht Club while enjoying best sunset views in the Gulf of Thailand – the view is free!
5) People gaze
See and be seen. Head down to the Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show and be seen with the in crowd. Enjoy a spot of people watching and keep an eye out for the celebrities. Bring your camera as there’s no better place for a selfie than at the show in front of those multi-million baht yachts!
The show is open Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th, 11:00 – 19:00 daily. Entry is FREE and everyone is welcome.
